The Warriors (10-3) are looking at playing without one of their superstars for the second time in the past week as Stephen Curry (thigh bruise) figures to miss the Magic. Kevin Durant sat out the Warriors’ win against Minnesota last Wednesday. Golden State Warriors vs Orlando Magic Live Stream.

Orlando’s star is familiar to Bay Area fans, it’s San Jose’s Aaron Gordon, the former Mitty High standout. Gordon’s game continues to evolve to the point where he’s no longer just a dunking machine — he currently leads the NBA in 3-point shooting, making a whopping 55.3 percent of his tries.

Orlando, which dropped a 125-107 game in Denver on Saturday, also features ex-Warrior Marreese Speights in a reserve role. After Monday’s game, the Warriors fly to Boston to face the red-hot Celtics in a nationally televised game Thursday.

The Warriors are currently in the midst of a six-game road trip. Their next opponent is the Magic in Orlando. Who suits up for the Warriors Friday night in Orlando is quite the mystery. On Thursday, the Warriors listed five players as questionable on their injury report.

Curry and Durant were both on the injury report prior to Wednesday overtime win in Los Angeles. Curry wore a wrap around his hand as he scored 28 points in the Warriors’ 127-123 win vs. the Lakers. Durant, dealing with a sprained left ankle for nearly two weeks now, led the Warriors with 29 points. Friday is the second and final time the Warriors play the Magic this season. They previously beat them, 110-100, on Nov. 13 at Oracle Arena.

2017 Hero World Challenge

It’s a Thursday afternoon, the final day of November, and you’re probably just trying to hibernate and hide from your work. The good news is you’ll have a pretty amazing diversion to ignore said work. At this event last year, Woods led the field in birdies. Of course, he came in 15th of 17 players, but the birdie runs whipped everyone into a frenzy after waiting and waiting for Woods to finally play competitive golf.

Tiger Woods will make his return to professional golf on Thursday at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas. Woods has not played in a competitive event in 10 months, but he will tee it up with Justin Thomas on Thursday at 12:05 p.m. ET, and we’re going to be able to watch the entire show.

We could get more of the same Tiger-mania this year, with birdies rolling in during a four-day stretch where not winning but just completing 72 holes is the priority. Woods is almost certainly going to finish in the bottom half of the 18-man field and that’s fine. We just want to see him back in front of the cameras and playing against some of the top pros in the world. We’ll get that on Thursday, when he tees off with reigning player of the year, Justin Thomas.

Seventeen of the world’s best golfers will be among the field this week at the PGA Tour’s 19th Annual Hero World Challenge in New Providence, The Bahamas.

All the talk around the golf world, however, has been about the 18th member of the roster of players for this tournament, one Eldrick “Tiger” Woods, arguably the greatest golfer of all time.

Woods is the host of this select $3.5 million event but that’s not what’s been causing all the ruckus. What’s got folks excited is that Woods will play in the tournament, marking his first official competition on Tour since a missed cut last January in the 2017 Farmers Insurance Open.

The PGA Tour has officially ended, but unofficially, it’s just getting started. Tiger Woods makes his return this week at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, a tournament Woods hosts. He will play competitive golf for the first time since he withdrew from the Dubai Desert Classic in early 2017. What followed was a tumultuous few months that included his fourth back surgery and a DUI. But all of that is in the rearview mirror now, and Woods sounds ready to get after it again.

NEW PROVIDENCE, Bahamas — Tiger Woods played 18 holes on Wednesday, doing so in a few strokes under par and missing just one fairway in the pro-am for his Hero World Challenge. Tiger Woods ready for soft relaunch at the Hero World Challenge.

Cavs vs Hawks

The Cleveland Cavaliers (14-7) will take on the Atlanta Hawks (4-16) at 7:30 pm EST. They will look to add another notch to their impressive nine-game win streak. The Cavaliers are playing their best basketball of the season, having won nine straight games. They blew out both the 76ers and the Heat, and head into Phillips arena to square off with the woeful Hawks, who already handed them one of their seven losses on the season.

When: 7:30 p.m. ET
Where: Phillips Arena, Atlanta, GA
Enemy Blog: Peachtree Hoops
TV: Fox Sports Ohio
Online: Fox Sports GO, NBA League Pass

Cavs injuries: Isaiah Thomas (OUT – hip), Tristan Thompson (OUT – calf), Derrick Rose (OUT, away from team/ankle injury), Iman Shumpert (OUT – left knee)

Hawks injuries: Dewayne Dedmon (OUT – tibia), Mike Muscala (TBD – ankle), Luke Babbitt (TBD – back), Isaiah Taylor (TBD – eye)

In their first matchup of the season, the Cleveland Cavaliers lost a close one 115-117. Where seven of the nine Hawks players logged double-digit points, and Dennis Schroder led the Hawks with 28 points. The Hawks shot 44% from deep and took advantage of then-struggling Cavaliers defense. LeBron lead Cleveland with 26 points and 13 rebounds. While Korver and Wade weren’t too far behind with 23 and 25 points, respectively. The rest of the Cavaliers struggled to score, and didn’t help much defensively either.

WATCH NOW: CAVS VS HAWKS

The Hawks will be facing a defensively-improved Cavaliers team. The Cavaliers have been among the top 10 defenses during their nine-game win streak. In fact, in the past three games they have kept teams to under 100 points. The struggling Hawks are coming off a 34-point loss to the Raptors and have lost eight of their last 10 games.

However, Love needs to stay focused on the defensive end and not allow Ilyasova or Babbit space to get their shot off comfortably. Hopefully, Love can build off his 38-point performance last game and continue to show improvement in his role as a Center.

Next, we have LeBron James vs Taurean Prince. Prince is a solid young player who, in his last outing against the Cavs, had 17 points and shot 3 of 6 from 3-point land. While LeBron, unsurprisingly, out-played him I expect LeBron to have a standout performance following his first ever ejection.

Lastly, the Cleveland Cavaliers bench play continues to astonish, and this game should be no different. If the Cavaliers take this game seriously and continue to play defense at a high level they should have no problem winning their 10th straight. The Cavs tend to play lackadaisical against teams that they do not take seriously. With the Hawks having a record of 4-16, there is a possibility the Cavs show disinterest. If that is the case, then the Hawks could surprise them and the win streak may come to an end.
